Stacie Orrico
Born to Christian missionaries in 1986 in Seattle, Washington, Stacie Orrico earned recognition for her talents early, winning in the vocalist category of the Estes Park Christian Artist Seminar at the age of 12. Her career was built on that recognition, and her 2000 Forefront debut, "Genuine", featured her impressive vocal styling, as well as three tracks on which Orrico was the co-author.
A supporting role on a Destiny's Child tour earned Orrico greater recognition, and her self-titled 2003 release earned her a Grammy nomination. After a break, during which she worked as a waitress, she released "Beautiful Awakening" in 2007.
